Another half of my part of the aforementioned housewarming gift for nestashouse
There is no story to it.  I thought the

horse could have been nervous about the ferry or the looming shadows of the mountains across.  The composition is shamelessly ripped from the Persian manuscript.  They have horse-talking, semi-exiled princes, too.

I have many monsters in ink, but no more Tolkien so far. It's a tragedy, really -- I love painted portraits, but what I can do with no false modesty are bugs in ink. And some dragons with less certainty.
