Huckleberry Crusoe

Hi guys, I am looking for a lot of books about children (or adults) surviving on their own. I need success and adventure, and a lot of detail!
Ideally, books of the "Gentlemen of the road" kind: written to impress adults, not instruct children.
English or Russian. I'll post the list!
Experimental search for "children survival books" yielded a list of "Popular child abuse books".
